This is an elephant with an Indian headdress that I made at work. I work at a cake bakery (We do alot of wedding cakes and specialty cakes, like sculpted cars and shoe cakes, things like that)

It is completely edible, being made solely from fondant and gum paste, with the small exception of a bit of wire and a few dowels for support internally.

It took me about four days start to finish, allowing drying time before I could rework it, things like that. It is the topper for a specialty cake and is about five inches long.

It is painted with edible luster and petal dusts.

Oh you wouldn't really want to. It was hard as a rock after it was all dried. Edible still, but hard as a rock lol.
